Maria Howse

Maria has been the Principal since 1990. A Fellow and International Examiner of the ISTD with many years teaching experience and proud recipient of the prestigious Carl Alan Teachers Award, winner of the SME NEWS Best Wedding Dance LESSONS South West England 2022 and LUXLife  Best Wedding First Dance Choreography Services for the South West of England 2021.

Training students and teachers to a high standard for their amateur medal tests and professional teaching qualifications.

Maria enjoys teaching all styles of dance to many different ages and abilities on a weekly basis. She is often in demand for adjudicating and examining both in the UK and overseas.

Kirstie Salmon

Kirstie Salmon

Kirstie started dancing at a local class aged three. She quickly progressed onto Ballroom and Latin and continued with this genre until she discovered the competitive circuit with Cadley. Kirstie completed the Foundation Dance Course with Swindon dance, achieving a diploma and A-level in dance. She achieved her Dance Leaders in the Community qualification and began teaching her own jazz classes for both adults and children with Swindon Dance.

After several years she took up her first love of Ballroom and Latin again, with Cadley. She progressed through her ISTD exams before going on to achieve her ISTD Associate qualification in Disco, Rock n Roll and Modern Ballroom, under Maria’s guidance. She’s currently working towards her Latin Associate qualification

Kirstie has been a finalist at the ISTD Grand Finals and has performed in many shows with Cadley, Swindon Dance and other local schools. She enjoys teaching all ages and abilities and looks forward to seeing you in class.

Rebecca Jackson

Rebecca Jackson

Rebecca is a previous professional British Finalist and International Semi-Finalist. She originally started dancing in Shropshire at a local dance school when she was 4 years old.

After taking part in medallist competitions Rebecca got her first open competitive partner, with her then partner she became juvenile British Finalists and United Kingdom closed Finalists. She continued to be a regular Junior and Youth Finalist at the national competitions.

She continued dancing into her adult career, where she specialised in Ballroom. She became winner of the British Dance Federation Star Championships, Pre National Trophy, Yorkshire Open and East Midlands championship. She then retired from competing to concentrate on teaching, which is her first love and Passion.
